Miura Ayako Literature Museum
Miura Ayako’s novels are published by over 40million though out the world. The museum is located in “mihonrin (non native trees park)” which is famous for the stage of Ayako’s representative novel” Hyou-ten(Freezing Point)”.
Kamikawa Shrine
Here is a historic shrine where Amaterasu Ohmikami and other deities are enshrined. It is said to bring blessings of business prosperity and increased financial luck, and is also famous as a power spot. You can often see the cute Hokkaido squirrels in the shrine grounds.
Otokoyama Sake Brewery Museum
Otokoyama brews sake using the pure under ground water. The cold temperatures in Asahikawa are ideal for brewing sake. You can sample the refined sake by seasons and also watch the brewing from inside the brewery.
